Client: EDF
Following on from the success of the L.E.D. Energy House, EDF commissioned us to make three smaller, stripped-down demonstration houses for transportation around the country. These models were designed to be simpler and more illustrative featuring polycarbonate cases which doubled as walls and ceilings.
While the chasing L.E.D.s on the larger models were set in channels behind tinted acrylic, in these models they were set behind white acrylic, making them invisible when switched off and diffusing through the plastic when switched on.
These compact and portable displays proved highly successful and before long we had produced a total of nine models for EDF stationed at various points around the country.
